Nissan Micra: Booking opens
Japanese auto manufacturer Nissan will start accepting bookings for their much awaited small car Micra from today. Nissan’s CEO, Mr. Toshiyuki Shiga announced that Micra’s launch in India will start a new chapter for Nissan India, as this car is specially designed and manufactured keeping India and Indians in mind.
Micra will be manufactured at Nissan’s Chennai unit which will also be the hub for Micra’s global exports said Mr. Shiga. Micra will be rolled out in July this year in the Indian market whereas exports to various European countries, African countries and Middle East will not commence before September 2010.
